Coach Danielle graduated from Merrimack College in 2016 and is currently a school counselor at East Hartford High School. She was a cheerleader for most of her life, cheering at the youth, middle school, high school, & collegiate levels. She was a member and captain of the RHAM Varsity Cheerleading team from 2009-2012 as well as the captain of Merrimack College’s competitive cheerleading team from 2012-2016. Danielle’s most rewarding experience was having the opportunity to compete on the Bandshell at NCA Collegiate Cheerleading Nationals in 2015 where her team took home 7th place. Since leaving the sport as an athlete, she has yet to find something to replace her love for cheerleading (but doubts that she ever will!) and she is so excited to have it back in her life as the Head Coach of the program that made her the person she is today, with one of her closest childhood friends by her side.

Coach Ali graduated from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York in 2017 and currently works as a nurse on the trauma surgery unit at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. Like Coach Danielle, she has spent a majority of her life cheerleading. She began cheering at the age of 7 and hasn’t stopped since—cheering from the youth level all the way up through the high school and collegiate levels. Coach Ali cheered for RHAM Varsity from 2009-2013 and was captain her junior and senior years. In college, she cheered for the Hartwick College Hawks’ football and basketball teams from 2013-2017, and was captain her sophomore, junior, and senior years. Ali first started her coaching career back in 2010, when she and Coach Danielle became some of the first high school cheerleaders to volunteer as assistant coaches through the RHAM Youth program, and she is so excited to be back coaching alongside her partner in crime!
